The ice in the cut is a good inch or so thick and only a small section of the meadow is free of ice. It really is quite amusing to see a swan slip and slide when they are so graceful normally....

Although the temperatures are due to improve from tomorrow it will not mean the ice melts before the normal outings tomorrow - this means that Sunday's sessions will follow the same plan as today - no water training but coaching on the ergs.
Fingers crossed next weekend will be better - especially as some of us are off to Cambridge next Sunday for January's winter league.
